Strategie Digitali Goes to BILT North America 2018 – Classes Preview

We are very happy and excited to speak at BILT North America 2018! in less than a month we will fly to Saint Louis to be part of one of the most prestigious events about digital technologies in AEC Industry. This our second BILT Event for the 2018; We presented in Singapore in April, and we will speak again at BILT Europe this fall. Indeed is our first time at BILT North America.

We are going to present two classes over there, here is a little preview of both of them:

Session 2.3&2.4 – Adapt or Die: Clever Ways to Exploit Adaptive Components for Your Everyday Design

This is a double laboratory: two hours and and half of Adaptive Components and Dynamo. This is an extended and improved version of the class we presented, previously this year, at BILT Asia 2018 in Singapore  were we got awarded among the Top 10 Speakers.  Class Description: Revit Adaptive Components are a powerful tool and sometimes the answer to all those “this cannot be done in Revit” gibberish. This laboratory will aim to highlight the key concepts you really need to master to understand their behavior in Revit and with tools like Rhinoceros, Dynamo and Grasshopper.

Session 1.4: The BIM Challenge: a Gamified Framework for Learning

after the success of Las Vegas, we are happy to present again about our approach to the use of gaming techniques in construction industry. Our fellow friend, co-speaker a co-author Gabriele Gallo infortunato won’t be with us, but we will do our best to spread his word and to share his knowledge.

And if, when we say gaming techniques you believe is something related to the picture below, come to our class, you will have a big surprise.

Class Description: Transitioning from a traditional workflow to a BIM process is all about identifying problems and making the right choices. The proposed learning method is based upon game design techniques and consists in the gamification of a pathway that leads from the old ways of working to the new practice.

What to add to this?

See you all in Saint Louis!
